Undercover Social Media Course
This 2-day course teaches law enforcement professionals how to actively engage and investigate individuals utilizing social media to commit crime. Yellowstone Narcotics instructors were the first individuals in Montana to utilize this technique for drug investigations. Our instructors have developed these techniques over the past decade and now instruct this course in multiple states. Our investigative methods are proven to be legal, effective, and simple to understand.
Students can expect to leave this course and be fully capable of employing these techniques immediately upon graduation. In this course, you will learn how to set up undercover accounts online, best practices when communicating with suspects, legal issues, and be provided multiple real life case examples. Students will also learn the various techniques on how to continue their criminal investigations once a suspect is identified online. Various investigative techniques will then be explained and discussed on ways to further your investigations online. This course will cover everything from initial contact through prosecution. If you are not currently operating online, our course will show why you should be.
Yellowstone Narcotics takes pride in our student’s investigations long after our course is complete and make ourselves available to assist you with any future cases. Any courses we instruct, County Attorney’s attend for free and are encouraged to attend in person alongside law enforcement.
